Who cares if you don't like how somebody else plays his or her single player game? Nobody. There is no room for discussion, no room for rants and taunting: it's not your game. ![]() Ursprünglich geschrieben von Jaguar:I am of the opinion: You bought the game? Play it however you want in single player mode. like have it permanently say "Cheats enabled in this save" at the top of the screen or something any time you play on that save after enabling a cheat. I think any time you activate a cheat it should show up on your screen that youve enabled cheats in that save game, so that its obvious when someone didnt do it legit. But for finding bugs and glitches, testing the game itself out, especially for someone in a situation like me where i only get a few hours to play in very spread out periods, speeding up the process to get an idea what i want my base to look like instead of gathering resources to rebuild 30+ times because im very OCD about building, I appreciate the ability to cheat. I wouldnt consider anything done like this an accomplishment obviously, nor would I rate the gaming experience based on what was found here. Bears still bug out with foundations etc.īut it also allows you to learn the map a bit easier, or search for a cool spot to build a base and see how you want to lay it out etc. If the devs dont feel like these things need to be changed but the players do then the game will only gain any popularity if some big tiddy twitch streamer starts playing it and then it will die off as soon as she stops.Considering the game is in alpha stages and very little of the content is released yet, I can see using cheats to test things out, speed up processes etc.īuild a huge base and test how the different parts work, such as last i knew steps dont work snapped directly to doorways. These are just a few examples of what mods could do to this game. ![]() Making the plant fiber you collect make cloth so you can make a shirt easierĬhanging the requirements for making things (like how the lockpick takes 18 forged iron bits, some wood, and some scrap metal to make a bent piece of metal for instance)Ĭhanging the electricity requirements and electricity production amount/rate by your base so that if your base has the ability to charge to max capacity without having to make a bunch of generatorsĪdd different models for the starting weaponsįixing the poisoning every time you die and respawnĪdding better armor to the game so you dont die in 2 hits from a wolf or bear Make the trees fall over and either have to be replanted or respawn over the course of 3 in game days on their ownĬhanging the color of the crates so you can see them from further awayĪdding gun parts to the workbench so you can craft them yourself ![]() Things like:Ībility for animals to climb sheer rock faces and get to youĪdding a clock so you know what time of day it is If this game has been out in alpha for going on 5 years and alpha 56 (the current release) is as good as the devs can make it then a modding community would certainly improve things. There are still people playing fallout new vegas and people still making mods for skyrim. You can do damned near anything to your game with mods in those 2 franchises and it contributes to the longevity of the player base. Look at how many mods there are for the elder scrolls and fallout series.
